Target Shopping Trip 7/30

Well I headed out to a different Target today to see what they on clearance for 75% off in toys. I did see quite a few more toys to choose from and a better variety. I ended up spending $29.30 ($2.54 was in tax). I saved a total of $42.97 (59%)!

Target Shopping Trip 7/29

I went to Target today to see if they had put all of their toys that were previously clearanced for 15-50% off to 75% off. They had put some to 75% but not all. Plus what was 75%  there wasn't much left. I did see some Toy Story 3 toys that were 30% off. Hopefully that will get to 75% off?! 

I spent a total of $17.01 including tax! I saved $47.53 (74%)! I hope you all have luck at your local Target!

Hilander Shopping Trip 7/21

I think by far this may have been my worst in saving? It has been awhile since we have actually gone out grocery shopping and we were getting low on certain items. We spent a total of $61.10 and saved $98.69 (62%)! The ** means that it was part of the buy 10 save $5 off your total bill. The prices of the items are after the $5 taken off. There is also a Kraft catalina going on for when you purchase 5 participating items receive a $5 catalina. I'll post the items in a different post.

So it's been awhile since I've posted what I have saved so far this year and I think it's time to do so. That being said I have spent $2,125.76 and I have saved a total of $3,223.76! That's around 60% I have saved so far this year! All of my totals include everything from food, clothing, diapers, and personal care items, etc. They just don't include the bills. WOW Target has a great sale going until 7/10 on the Aveeno Hydrating Body Wash. It's on sale for only $1.25! I used the $2/2 from 6/20 SS. I only ended up paying $0.65 for both body washes! I saved a total of $11.53 (95%)! If you plan on going to Target to get on this deal don't forget your reusable bag to get $0.05 your total per bag. And bring Target's coupon policy if you run into any problems with those cashiers!

Walgreens: Money Maker on Nivea

Run to Walgreens now to get on this deal! Right now the Nivea Active 3 is ringing up BOGO FREE.

Target Shopping Trip 6/5

Target finally had the pool in stock today that was in their ad since Sunday and I grabbed it! Total Out of Pocket for everthing came to $16.53! I saved $59.70 (78%)! I used $14.48 in gift cards I received from Targets promotion when you purchase 2 selected Olay Products receive a $5 gift card. I still have left a $5 gift card too.

WalMart: Free Pampers Wipes

In the early edition of 6/5 Sunday's Chicago Tribune there was the $2 off 60ct or more Pampers Wipes coupon! That means Free Wipes at WalMart! When I went today they were priced at $1.97 each so I only ended up paying the tax! Happy Dance! (This coupon will also be in Chicago Tribune Sunday paper, 6/6 too.)

Yesterday I received a $5 gift card in the mail from my local Wal Mart. I assume I received it because they were remodeling it and figured they would send out gift cards to local residents to bring them back to shopping at WalMart. Sadly it worked on me. I do have to say I tried to spend very little out of pocket and so I only spent $0.36. I saved $9.58 (96%).

For a total spent so far this year is $1,825.71. A total saved is 2,550.57 (58%)!! My totals include everything from diapers, toys, and food (without the exception of bills). I hope you all are having a great time saving this year as I am. I am also realizing where the money is going now. And I'm finding this a great way to keep track of how much we're spending and to where we're spending the most at. I think I'll be doing this for a long time. Happy clippings & savings.

This was by far my best shopping trip at Walgreens! Total OOP was $0.20 because of tax. I saved a total of $35.96(99%). Plus I received $20 in RR! Yes, I made a profit of $19.80! I did 4 seperate transactions.
